Northern Credit Union’s Read Local featured author: April-June, 2024.
I’m pleased and honoured that Tumblehome was chosen to be a featured book in the Northern Credit Union’s inaugural Read Local program. Read Local is supporting Ontario communities and empowering students by partnering with local authors to feature and sell their books in select branches. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from book sales are donated to local area high schools, while 25 percent are used to purchase books from future featured authors.
The Meet and Greets that I did at each of the featured branches – Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Thunder Bay (Red River Street and Arthur Street branches) and Pembroke – were a great success, and great fun. Thank you to all the customers – and employees! – who purchased a copy of Tumblehome in support of this amazing program.
